NOTE FROM ERIKA!* Pottery is a bit of science and a lot of physics, and random things happen in the creation process. I will try my absolute best to care for your creation from start to finish, but strange things do happen as pots dry, such as cracking and warping. I will explain how you can likely prevent them while we are sculpting, but I’m always surprised by what clay will do. By signing up for this class, you accept the fate of the kiln gods, and there are no refunds or replacements for projects that do not survive the process.
This class will take place on March 2nd starting at 2:30pm and will last about 2.5 hours! This class will take place at Copperline Plant Company, located at 23 W Hargett St in Downtown Raleigh, NC.
During this class, you'll build 2 planters and saucers that will be taken to Erika's home studio to be fired in her kiln. Once your pots are finished, you can pick them up from Copperline Plant Co., along with 2 handy-dandy plants to go inside (included in your ticket price!)
*classes are BYO, so bring something to sip on something while you learn!*
